James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix was arguably the greatest electric guitarist in the world. The American musician and singer-songwriter left a tremendous legacy before passing away at the age of 27. Hendrix was one of the first artists to break the color barriers in rock music, and captivated audiences with his classic songs like: All Along The Watch Tower, Hey Joe, Purple Haze, Voodoo Child (Slight Return); and mesmerizing guitar solos in his own rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.
