Embroidered Magazine Cover Girls By Inge Jacobsen

Making a unique statement about beauty and mass-production.

London-based Inge Jacobsen embroiders versions of women's fashion magazines, newspapers, and pornographic images, in order to critique mass-consumption and the beauty industry. In her words, “[My work] seeks to intervene in this overwhelming consumption from the mass produced and alter it to create something unique." After you see the way she fragments images, you'll see how her work is changing the game.
