Coming off another solid showing at NYFW, Duckie Brown continues to impress with their latest Florsheim S/S 13 collaborative collection. The Duckie dudes first partnered with the storied American shoe company in 2009 and the results has stayed skrong since. They've injected some much needed coolness into Florsheim's dusty catalog and it's safe to say guys who care about owning nice shoes have noticed. Owning two pairs of their saddles myself, I can say with certainty that the construction and quality are solid for the pricepoint. The new spring collection continues their play on VERY LOUD colors that scream in passerby's faces, but this time they've begun to explore different uses of materials as well. Solid and perforated suede play a big role this round, and the beaded brogues give peacocks flight, despite being weighed down by hard-ons.
