They say you're lucky if you have one brilliant idea your entire lifetime. Pharrell Williams, however, doesn't seem to need luck, because he has a special machine inside his brain that produces brilliant ideas all the time. 

Okay, maybe not actually brilliant all of the time. But close.

In anticipation of the release of Pharrell's forthcoming coffee table book, "Pharrell: Places and Spaces I've Been", The New York Times followed him around for a few days catching the never-ending flow of thoughts that spill from his brain. The gems included everything from getting Morgan Freeman to record an audiobook to pink hiking boots.

The highlight for us, though, is definitely when Pharrell asked the nice folks at Timberland "Well, what do you have, outside of the cow family?" after they fielded his request to look into making boots out of stingray leather. [NY Times]
