Mismo's classic looks and fabrication have won the brand plenty of fans, but designer Adam Bach recognized a need to evolve towards a more light-hearted approach towards materials in order to continue to grow— and the bag line's Spring/Summer collection for next year bears that out greatly.
"Finding the right balance of colors is like creating your own painting," said Bach in reference to his approach to experimenting with new fabrics and tones. The resulting collection captures the essence of Mismo that we've come to love with a satisfyingly novel level of fun that's typically missing from this product category.
Not content to try out new fabrics like a floral-embossed brushed nubuck, Mismo also introduced an array of new styles into their offering, yet avoided giving them specific functionalities. Bach discusses how he purposefully avoided doing so, and continued, "We want people to use them for what
works for them, be it their work commute, their travels, or for the gym. We want each person to mold the bag to what works in their life, not the other way around."
