Under Armour and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have unveiled the Club’s new home and away kits for 2012/2013. With Tottenham announcing a new manager (Andres Villas-Boas)  and opening a new training facility, the fresh uniforms round out an important trilogy of change. Donna Cullen, Executive Director of Tottenham, introduced the union with these words, "We are delighted to welcome Under Armour as our technical partner," noting that the brand has been viewed primarily for base layers and rugby in the UK up to this point.

Kevin Plank, founder and CEO of Under Armour, echoed Cullen's thoughts and offered his own saying, "Tottenham has a great history of doing and things things before others."

The new kits feature a new technology for Under Armour, stretch woven Under Armour HeatGear®. This material is designed for optimum weight, moisture management, breathability, and performance. Mesh insets line the side panels and a fully perforated cockerel (the Club symbol) decorates the back panel of the home kit. The all-white shirt also features a tailored collar and placket adding a traditional element to the contemporary uniform.

For the navy blue away kit with classic V-neck, a sublimated back panel incorporates elements of Tottenham Hotspur's home, White Heart Lane.

Club captain Michael Dawson kept his thoughts about the new kit short and sweet. "It looks good, it feels good, and now we've just got to go out and play."

Under Armour's partnership with Tottenham proves the brand is ready to play in a new league.
