Kevin Conroy's performance as the Caped Crusader is up there with that of his live-action counterparts, and the costume matches the caliber. Although the Animated Series drew a lot of visual inspiration from the Tim Burton films, developer Bruce Timm and company refrained from the leather obsession in the movies and stuck to a modernized version of the Adam West PJs.
