Barcelona-based Max Rippon, aka Ripo, brings his sign painting-influenced handcut paper to the US for the first time next month. A residency at San Francisco's White Walls Gallery culminates in a powerful solo show of 25 brand new works. These all play with the malleable shapes and forms of typography and infuse the artist's statement with great energy.
"Signs, Fines & Cheap Wines" opens on August 9 and runs to September 1, 2012.
