There is no mistaking Jeremy Fish's love for San Francisco. The artist has regularly employed the city's history and mythology as a starting point for new work and his new exhibition is no exception. A large portion of Where Hearts Get Left is made up of a series of 50 small drawings. These function as a tour of San Francisco. Fish shares his favorite Mission burrito spots, for example, and introduces us to some notable characters. Those brilliant three dimensional pieces we all know and love from Fish are also part of the installation.
The new show opens tomorrow. [Fecal Face]
