Set up on the Rond Point des Champs-Elysées, the WiFi station, called Escale Numérique (literally, "digital break"), is meant to be a technological fountain, bringing anybody who wants it high speed WiFi, much like how the fountains brought Parisians fresh water way back when. If you find yourself without a laptop, large screens provide information about the city around you. For when you wanna take a break from shopping, each chair has a plug and a mini table on which you can rest your electronic. The foliage covered roof is meant to ensure that Escale Numérique is beautiful, anyway you view it, even from above. [Dezeen]
