Market Week Recap: Journal Standard Spring/Summer 2013

None

Journal Standard is another Japanese company that makes garments with amazing fabrics and patterns. While there is a clear workwear influence, Journal Standard takes that inspiration and tailors the fit down and replaces the hard wearing canvases and twills for breezy cottons and linens for Spring/Summer. The hand and quality of the fabrics are reminiscent of brands like 45 rpm and Kapital, but with a slimmer fit. Can you tell I’ve been at tradeshows for the past 72 hours? I’m saying things like “hand” and “warp and weft” way too casually. So stop reading this drivel and look at the photos. I know that’s what you want to do anyway. READING IS FOR LOSERS. ME? FAIL ENGLISH? THAT’S UNPOSSIBLE, BRO.
