Everybody knows the Olympics is partially a fashion show. Each country’s uniforms are normally designed by a native fashion power house, giving them the world's biggest stage to display their taste. This year, Ralph Lauren designed the USA uniforms, Stella McCartney designed for Britain, and Armani and Prada designed for Italy.  Above are images of six other brands that took a shot at outfitting the athletes over the years.

Each brand added their own swag to the uniforms. Spalding kept it old school with the short shorts, Levis dressed up the athletes as if they were in an old western film, Nike took a sportier approach, and Ralph Lauren, well they kept it Ralph Lauren. Which do you think did the best?
