Just a few weeks agoNick Wooster revealed the changes J.C. Penney is going to be making. Everything from the pricing structure to the sales floor is going to look different, turning your mom’s favorite department store into a place you would step into. There is no doubt that JCP is aiming to be a more “fashionable” retailer.

This past Monday, the retailer rolled out its shop-in-shop experience giving the store a more streamlined look to better showcase its brands. A noticeable new addition is a new Levi’s shop with a denim bar featuring 11 cuts and 88 different washes. Adding to that are separate sections for both Arizona Jean Co., and I Jeans by Buffalo, with more in-store shops including its in-house brand JCP coming just in time for back-to-school season. If you can’t find the cash register through the maze of clothes, no worries, employees will have their nifty iPads handy to ring your purchase up on the spot. Check out some of the new looks in the pictures above. [wwd]
