In 1971 Andy Warhol was amongst a crew of invited artists to participate in"art cash", a gaming fundraiser held by Experiments in Art and Technology. Artists were requested to design their own original bank notes that would be used during the charity event. The money was printed by the American Banknote Company on the same paper used for legitimate U.S. Currency (with the exception of anti-counterfeit threading). Today, the collection of $1 bills are being offered by online print retailer Exhibition A. Yours for $300 a bill, hit the thumbs for a detailed look at this rare collection by Andy Warhol.
