Architecture and graffiti have obvious connections. Without wall surface, writers have no canvas. More importantly, both practices are about reacting to and forming space. Florida-born Max Ehrman straddles both mediums. He studied architecture in Germany, balancing scholastic activity with a life-long love of bombing. Eventually, his alter-ego, EON75, took over and Ehrman dedicated his life fully to paint.
Given his background, it is not surprising that Ehrman has a unique approach to art. Complex hit San Francisco to tour his studio and check out the street art scene in his new home city. Watch above.
