The Salon Urbain In Montreal

Sid Lee Architecture and Aedifica turn a parking lot into an urban lounge.

Design firms Sid Lee Architecture and Aedifica did an excellent conversion at the Place des Arts in Montreal, Canada, home to the symphonic orchestra. What was once a parking lot is now a sleek urban lounge, perfect for both day and night entertainment. The bar's wave-like ceilings are meant to resemble sound waves in physical form, with red to denote theater and the arts. [Contemporist]
