During the 1950s and 1960s Zippy the Chimp made frequent appearances on popular network television programs like The Ed Sullivan Show entertaining viewers with his hilarious human-like behavior. You see, back in the day, there weren't any warning symbols on cigarettes, so Zippy didn't know it was unhealthy for Chimps start a smoking habit. Thankfully he was awesome at riding bikes, roller-skating and a handful of other healthy activities that helped keep him in shape. And, the crazy thing is, most of what we just told you is true.
