The dudebrahs behind Saturdays Surf will open up their newest location on Friday. The success of their SoHo spot led them to Japan, where they recently set up shop in Tokyo. Located on the corner of Waverly Place and Perry Street, the new store will not have a backyard patio like th Crosby Street spot, but will continue to serve La Colombe Coffee, and have ample seating to "chillax" inside and outside.
With two new stores in just the span of two months, one might worry that the little brand that could is getting too big for its britches, but co-founder Morgan Collett claims this isn't the case, and they'll focus on running the three shops and getting them up to speed. “We want to get the Village store performing efficiently and just continue what we’re doing,” he said.
