The brainchild of brothers Russell and Danny Simmons, founders of the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Artisan Series provides invaluable exposure for young painters, photographers, and mixed media artists. We’re a couple weeks into the submission period for the 3rd Annual competition, but you can still send in your work!
Artisan Series judges will evaluate all submissions to determine which artists will present their work in a series of gallery shows around the country later this year. Finalists in the competition will be asked to show at Art Basel Miami in December, and the two winners of this year’s competition will have a show at the Rush Arts Gallery and Resource Center in New York City in February 2013.
