San Francisco-based Andrew Shoutlz heads east this weekend for a new exhibition, Ex Uno Plura, at Eric Firestone Gallery in East Hampton, New York. The show finds the multidimensional artist—Shoutlz is equally adept at immense murals and complex indoor installation—riffing on the American flag. Some of the work will remind, rightly so, of Jasper Johns. Others will evoke strong, immediate reaction. Light enough for a summer show, but strong enough to properly fuel cocktail conversation. The exhibition opens on June 23 and runs to July 7, 2012. [Living Proof]
