Generally, when you think of McDonald's, Big Macs and french fries come to mind. We doubt that Don Draper or a busty Joan Holloway are immediate images that pop up, but apparently, the McDonald's restaurants in the U.K. have channeled their inner Mad Men for new retro-style uniforms just in time for the 2012 London Olympics. Plaids, colors like "mustard yellow" and "gherkin green," and more buttoned-up looks invoke memories of the show's '60s mod movement of quirky colors and patterns. And because McDonald's is synonymous with the Olympics, the debut of the new "classy" looks will see the light of day right before the games kick off. [NY Daily News]
