Created in 1964, "Sleeping Girl" by American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein recently sold for a whopping $44.8 million at Sotheby's. The auction was the second time the piece has been up for sale since last November when it fetched for $43.2 million at Christie's. The late artist was known as a leading figure in the American pop art movement, and for his signature comic book aesthetic.
