Herbert Schier's 'Vellies' boots can be found on everyone's feet on the Namibian coast. They're the original desert boot, handsewn from two pieces of kudu hide. Made in a workshop in a small village called Swakopmund, the boots are hand-stitched by a team of eight local gentlemen. The handcrafted boots are made for both adults and children. An exclusive collection has been made for Opening Ceremony New York and is now available on their webstore. [Opening Ceremony]
