The notion of shopping in general is mainly attributed to women, but according to research men have spent more on online shopping than women. Digital performance company iResearch pegs affluent men — described as those making more than $100k per year — spend nearly around $4k a year on online shopping.

Categories in luxury menswear and accessories are seeing a big boost. Even body care product maker Keihl’s is seeing double its sales online amongst men, and Amazon tops as the number 1 most visited site. Along with outspending women online, much of product research men do is through mobile phone applications. Accessible, convenient, and anonymity all from the comforts of your own home, yeah; we’re not surprised at all. [usatoday]
