The brand's latest button downs are straight trippy, mayne. We dig 'em though.

In a nutshell, expressionist paintings were done in a style that distorted the natural world for effect or in order to evoke emotion. These locker loop button down shirts, the latest drop from the folks at Nepenthes NY, are inspired by that, and definitely channel the modernist movement well. While this isn't designer Angelo Urrutia's first foray into crazy patterns, he once again gives a signature twist to the sport shirt.

Not your average 100% cotton shirt, there are vivid stripes that form a gradient across each colorway, with alternating dark stripes giving it contrast. It's part '90s style, part trippy-ass painting. The shirts also use a unique Batik printing technique that ensures each stripe is different — making each shirt one-of-a-kind. Want one for yourself? It'll set you back $180. [Nepenthes New York]
