This Side of Paradise is a renovation project at the Andrew Freedman Home (1125 Grand Concourse in the Bronx) that recently re-opened to the public. Once a white-glove retirement home for the wealthy who lost their fortunes in the Great Depression, it's now a site-specific installation celebrating "human ingenuity, the strength of the human spirit and the resilience needed to fashion beauty, hope and rejoicing."
