Jasper Wong, founder of Pow Wow Hawaii and curator of Loft In Space Gallery, opens his own exhibition tomorrow in Melbourne. His first Australian solo show finds Wong toying with laser beams, rainbows, and a favored character, Mr. T. His clash of Asian-influenced pop art on paper has made Wong a favorite around the world. The new material in A Corny Concerto follows Wong's usual comic obsessed work, adding a touch of explicit sexuality to the graphic explosions.
A Corny Concerto runs April 28 through May 5, 2012.
