Daniele Del Nero creates eerily beautiful cityscapes out of dilapidated models. Constructed with black paper, Del Nero then covers the pieces with flour and allows mold to grow, eroding the building and giving them an abandoned feeling. The artist says her intentions with the piece were to spark a dialogue about the sense of time and the destiny of the planet after the human spices is extinct. Check out the thumbnails for more hauntingly beautiful, if not a little creepy, images of these mini structures. [DanieleDelnero]
