Santa Monica developer Adam Corlin has collaborated with prolific graffiti artist, RISK, in the past, but this time he requested the painting of his 4,700 square foot house. Corlin says, “The city tried to fine me $65,000 the last time I commissioned RISK...They said if I wanted to make a public statement, I should have painted my house...I took it to heart and painted my house.”

While the project doesn't feature any actual graffiti, it intentionally reduces the medium to "its most abstract form" using bright colors and washes. RISK calls it an extension of the "Beautifully Destroyed" project, which was a series of murals across the U.S. [Revok1]
