Photographer Patrick Simpson has an interesting photo series that focuses on model inmates at the Angola Prison in Louisiana. This group of privileged prisoners participate in a program called "Hobby Craft", an initiative that allows inmates to paint, create wood and leather works, taxidermy and build furniture. The pieces are later sold to the public at the Angola annual rodeo and art fair, and benefit the inmates families, prison administration, as well as a small amount for the inmates to purchase more materials for their next fair. Hit the thumbs for an inside look at Patrick's fascinating series, and check out a different side to prison life. [ItsNiceThat]
