The Geek Zodiac, created last year by James Wright and Josh Eckert, is a playful take on the traditional Chinese calendar, where a “sign” denotes each year. But, instead of tigers, rabbits and monkeys, Wright and Eckert have incorporated aliens, ninjas and the undead. Recently they revamped their format, swapping out screenshots and random images of their geek touchstones, for custom drawn characters created by Eckert.
