One of the most engaging shows I happened upon while wandering through Chelsea this February was Paula Cooper's photography group exhibition, which included, amongst others, Sophie Calle. Calle was represented by three of the nine heartbreaking diptychs from Douleur Exquise, her 2003 exhibition at the Centre Pompidou. 2012 is a busy year for her, with institutional exhibitions in Finland (ESPOO Musuem of Modern Art, ESPOO) and Colombia (Museo de Arte Modern, Medellin and Banco de Republica, Bogota).
