Louis Vuitton has brought in big-name artists, including Stephen Sprouse and Takashi Murakami, in the past for what turned out to be highly lucrative collections. As you might have heard, the latest to collaborate with the fashion house is Yayoi Kusama.

This past week, LV launched a microsite showcasing its involvement and partnership with the contemporary Japanese artist. Included on the site is an interview with the brand's creative director, Marc Jacobs, who explains what led the maison to collaborate with the avant-garde artist and what we can expect from the line.

Watch this short clip and find out how Jacobs and Kusama first met. You can check out the entire footage here.
