Miya Bailey, founder of Atlanta's City Of Ink tattoo shop, announced the official website for his labor of love, the documentary film Color Outside The Lines, over twitter this afternoon. Directed by Artemus Jenkins, the film is the culmination of five years of shooting. The aim of the documentary is to shed light on an often ignored side of tattooing, black artists and their struggle to find a foothold in the industry. Bailey's history as one of the world's most highly recognized tattooers provides the framework, Jenkins' provides the visuals and story telling in his directorial debut.
The film's newly launched site includes behind the scenes footage, handy tattoo tips, and fresh tumblr featuring work by all City Of Ink artists.
