This past week was a special one in the la-la land most people know as the fashion world. New York Fashion Week kicked off, and editorials, buyers, socialites, street style photographers and the generally well heeled flocked to Lincoln Center and Milk Studios to absorb the madness. In the meantime, the fashion magazine world must go on. And it did.

Here are The Top 10 Hottest Fashion Pictures of the Week. Of course our girl Candice Swanepoel makes an appearance, but there are also a few new faces who you'll be glad we noticed. Enjoy.

There's nothing about this photo that is outwardly sexy, but beachy girls + skateboards = winning combination. Model Wylie Hays shows women can hang too for accessories label Luv AJ. 

We don't know why anyone would go swimming with beautiful clothes on, but we're glad model Beegee Margenyte did, as she um, squeezes out the extra water for the latest edition of Schon Magazone.  

Kasia Struss manhandles some exotic birds for Harper's Bazaar Spain.
