Jay-Z kicked off the first of two sold-out charity concerts at New York City's Carnegie Hall a few nights ago. If you follow any of the industry's insiders, including Hov's long-time friend Angie Martinez, you'd know that the show was pretty crazy. It was definitely a performance people didn't want to miss, and wish they could've witnessed. So, we're thankful for all of the video footage and images that surfaced online yesterday (really, thank you Internets).
Jigga performed all of his biggest hits, including "Izzo (H.O.V.A) and "Public Service Announcement," as well as "Glory" which, as you know, is dedicated to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy. Of course, in true Jay-Z fashion, the rapper hit the stage in some pretty awesome threads. Rocking Tom Ford on two separate occasions, you can see him wearing a silk black dot Wetherby cocktail jacket from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, as well as a very similar cream, shawl-lapel dinner jacket. According to NY Times writer Jon Caramanica, Jay also wore a diamond Cartier pin.
