Karmaloop already ships internationally, but a new deal with Chinese retailer Xiu.com is likely to double the Boston based retailer’s distribution. Most — if not all — of Karmaloop’s inventory will be available to the Chinese buyer’s growing taste for fashion. Xiu.com already sells Givenchy, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and a slew of other established luxury brands, but the deal with Karmaloop opens up buyers to streetwear brands. Karmaloop owner, Greg Selkoe, is also using this as an experience to see how expansion plans can work out in the future. [WWD]
