French-born, German-bred Jaybo is something of a graffiti wanderer. He skips, successfully, from genre to genre, stretching his street informed aesthetic to include nods to everything from Francis Bacon to performance theater. The wide range of interests is clear on Jaybo's canvases, which have build on a series of fragmented images.

At the end of February, Jaybo will settle in Los Angeles for a solo exhibition and residency at Soze Gallery. There, he will share new paintings (click the thumbs for a preview) and his unique visual alphabet.
