The GAP is about to get a menswear makeover takeover from some of the best new menswear designers. GQ'sBest New Menswear Designersprogram has picked six finalists this year and, similar to last year's CFDA/Vogue collaboration with Docker's, each of the finalists (Mark McNairy, Shimon and Ariel Ovadia of Ovadia & Sons, Ian Velardi, Johan Lindeberg of BLK DNM, Todd Snyder, and the Saturdays NYC crew) will create capsule collections for the brand.

Details about the collaboration aren’t final, but it will likely consist of apparel and accessories sold this fall at Gap’s larger stores, and online. [NY Times]
