The new collection of scarves from Alexander Olch definitely has spring in mind. From appropriate patterns like gingham and ticking stripes, to lighter, sunwashed colors, these evoke images of picnics, breezy bicycle rides, and the kind of days where you leave your shades on for hours.

For the designer's first foray into lightweight scarves, we wouldn't mind having a few in our closet. Each one is handmade in New York City and available in two sizes: small ($145) and large ($280). Look for them to drop soon at Barneys.
