The Boneyard Project, an inventive program at the Pima Air & Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona, gives disused military aircraft new life through artistic intervention. Conceived in 2010, the project invites graffiti and street artists to create monumental works on planes found in the nearby "Bone Yard." Included in the latest exhibition, which opens on January 28, are How & Nosm, RETNA, and Faile. The balance of historic subject and contemporary art is rare in scope, and as such undoubtedly exciting. Click the thumbs for a preview. [Whudat]
