UK-based photographer Lee Jeffries spent much of his career photographing sporting events before he met a young homeless girl that changed his life. After photographing the girl sleeping in a sleeping bag, he went and talked to the young woman, and his view of homelessness became less universal and more personal. Now, Jeffries shoots chilling portraits of the homeless across the UK and the United States, hoping to increase discussion of a often overlooked issue. [Beautiful Decay]
