Yesterday, MoCA announced a partnership with Youtube that will bring the museum's innovative programing to a firm digital platform. The partnership will launch officially in July and feature fresh news and talk-show programming. It will be the first contemporary-art channel in Youtube's effort to more aggressively challenge traditional television with original content.
Since Jeffrey Deitch landed out West as MoCA director, the former New York gallery owner has aggressively sought new audience for the institution. Art In The Streets was a triumph. Here's hoping the latest push into new territory succeeds equally. [Arts Beat]
