In the 1970's, Martha Cooper was living in Japan trying to jump start a career in photography. While there, Martha became enamored with Japanese tattoo culture and captured an archive worth of photographs. For nearly 40 years, the photos were buried in a collection of unpublished works until recently when Martha snagged herself a book deal. Check out images from Martha's new book and stop by Adam Suerte's Urban Folk Art tattoo studio tomorrow evening for the book launch and exhibition. [12OzProphet]
