David Ellis' remarkable "True Value", a mixed-media kinetic sound sculpture made in collaboration with Robert Lange, has been making the art fair circuit. Beginning tomorrow, the brilliant work will become center piece for Ellis' debut solo show at Joshua Liner Gallery. Motion, music, and sound are at the core of the artist's recent material. Several motion paintings will fill the gallery, complimented by a few glorious compositions produced with vintage record covers. Nas, for example, is well represented.
True Value runs from December 15, 2011 to January 14, 2012.
