Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is no stranger to the mash-up. He is, after all, the man that made Iceberg History possible — turning cartoon graphics into very expensive, and desirable sweaters. JCC's latest creation is Mingskatable, a collaborative project with LAQ Executive that blends street culture and the golden age of Chinese furniture. The lacquer top and legs stem direction from Ming Dynasty tables, the shape of the top (notice the skateboards) is where street culture comes in.
