Last Friday at Miami's Art Basel company Del Toro Shoes unveiled a selection of customized slippers at an event called "Shoe Gallery 2011." These weren't your average white canvas slippers though, each pair was a literal canvas for a handful of artists to make their mark.
Notably, producer Pharrell Williams customized a pair with his autograph and a heart. Other participating artists included a grip of people making waves in the street art scene, including Havula, Mr. Nobody, Fumero, Abstrk, Alec Monopoly, Paul Aho, Jack Furious, Sand One, MissReds, Alex Yannes, Surface Merchants, and many others.
