While browsing through the J. Crew website today we stumbled upon this selection of items from Rei Kawakubo's Comme des Garcon Play collection. They appear to have picked up a small run of men's pieces. While we've seen the boat neck shirt and other women's selections before, dudes will have to settle for choosing between the v-neck pullover or the cardigan.
The company is self-aware of this interesting choice too: "We admit that this quirky cardigan from Rei Kawakubo's crazy-hard-to-find Play line is a bit of a departure from the heritage-type items we usually stand behind, but we're kind of obsessed—Frank, the head of our men's design team, has literally been wearing his every single day since it landed in his office," reads the copy.
Apparently they've only picked up 50 of them, so if you feel like getting these items from J. Crew, you can cop the v-neck sweater for $350 or the cardigan for $410. [J. Crew]
