Amelie Mancini is the French-born designer behind Left Field Cards. Falling for baseball on arrival to NYC in 2006, Mancini hand-presses humorous versions of baseball cards on an Ancient Washington press in Brooklyn.
Her current series, Bizarre Injuries, features 10 players who injured themselves off field in most unusual ways. Nolan Ryan, for example, was bitten by a coyote. Forthcoming series include - Edible All-Stars, Curious Second Careers, Remarkable Mustaches, and Men With a Van.
