Vampire in Brooklyn (1995)

There's a lotta shade thrown at Wes Craven's horror-comedy, which pretty much tried to out-Blacula Blacula. For what it's worth, we don't know how anyone could stunt on Maximillian the African-American-Vampire. He has jerry curls! Hoop earrings! Flyest Eddie Murphy ever looked.

Count Chocula  (1971-)

You other creatures of the night are cool and all, but our man Count Chocula has a franchise to his name that only Dracula himself can beat. Crushing the cereal game for forty years son!

True Blood (2008-)

You can be Team Bill, Team Alcide or whomever but when it comes down to the swag you have to admit Sherriff Eric is the clear winner in Sookie Stackhouse's supernatural love trapezoid. Now that you bagged, can cool it with the braissiere tops though, bro?

Blacula (1972)

An African-American take on Dracula so ridiculous in its blaxploitation-ness - he has an afro and sideburns - that it's awesome. The fact that he outswagged Dracula at his own game, the typical count outfit, instead of rocking like a dashiki or something is even better. We just have one question: where is the remake starring Sam Jackson and directed by Rodriguez and Tarantino?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Angel (1997 - 2004)

Bow down to the blueprint of every love triangle on your contemporary vampire show of choice. On the one side there's the straight-laced Angel, tragic hero but always found in a sweater with a fresh leather over it. Then there's his reluctant blood brother Spike, in all his Billy Idol platinum dyed hair glory. Put them together and Sarah Michelle Gellar's Buffy was in a constant state of pressure. And just like Buffy, we ultimately couldn't choose between them, so we had to go with both.

Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994)

In the land before Twilight and True Blood, Cruise and Pitt had your moms and big sisters swooning in the big-screen adaptation of Anne Rice's classic. For the times, they were quite the swagged out heartthrobs, but to be honest you could set a remake in modern day Williamsburg and the outfits could stay exactly the same.

Sesame Street (1972-)

Count Chocula may provide tasty morning breakfast cavity-bait, but the Bela Lugosi inspired Sesame Street Count really loves the kids. He's easily one of the coolest muppets, and when he's not stepping toddlers up on their arithmetic game Count von Count the don is cruising in the Countmobile with one of his numerous chicks, also of educational value. Counting with kids for forty years, with a personalized whip to match? What a boss.

The Lost Boys (1987)

Jack Bauer was the epitome of late 80's punk steez as the lead antagonist to Jason Patric and his brother in this classic, but even if David and his Lost Boys weren't intimidatingly fly they would have to make this list for the name alone. *Waits for Drake to start an emo-rap group called the Lost Boys*

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

There were plenty of Draculas to choose from for this list but damn if Gary Oldman wasn't eligible for like a 19th century GQ cover during some scenes of Francis Ford Coppola's epic take on the most notorious bloodsucker of film and literature.

Blade Trilogy (1998 - 2004)

All leather everything! You knew Blade had to be number one when dude's out in the streets protecting the world from vampires while simultaneously looking like an extra from Zoolander. Add in that sick haircut and the sword and it's a no-brainer.
